To build a stronger economy in Florida, it’s essential to attract high wage industries like aerospace and technology that offer skilled labor jobs. I have long been a strong supporter of educational and vocational job training programs, which play a crucial role in preparing Floridians to enter and succeed in these growing fields. By investing in workforce development and aligning education with industry needs, we can create more opportunities and build a brighter future for Florida’s workforce.

Florida’s tourism industry is a cornerstone of our economy that generates billions in revenue and supports millions of jobs across the state. I’ve been a proud advocate for increased wages and fair treatment for the individuals who power this industry every day. By investing in our tourism workforce, we strengthen one of Florida’s most vital economic engines and ensure its continued success.

Florida’s small businesses are crucial to our economy and play a vital role in the state’s long term success. As the recipient of the AIF Champion for Business Award, I have proudly advocated for the elimination of the business rent tax and supported legislation that helps businesses grow and succeed. I will continue working to reduce unnecessary regulations, expand access to capital and resources, and ensure that small business owners across Florida have the tools they need to thrive.

Florida is experiencing a critical shortage of affordable housing. To address this, we must strengthen our public-private partnerships that incentivize the development of affordable housing across the state. By offering targeted tax credits, streamlining permitting processes, and investing in infrastructure that supports residential growth, we can expand the housing supply and stabilize costs. Building a healthier, more competitive housing market starts with encouraging responsible development that prioritizes the needs of everyday Floridians.

Our first responders are the backbone of our communities, and it is essential that they have the resources necessary to continue protecting and serving Floridians. I am committed to advocating for expanded access to mental health support, enhanced training and professional development, and adequate funding for equipment and staffing. I am proud to work closely with the Florida Fraternal Order of Police and our dedicated firefighters. I will advocate to ensure they receive the tools, protections, and recognition needed to keep Florida safe.

Florida’s healthcare system needs real, patient centered reforms that break down the barriers working families and vulnerable communities face every day. Everyone deserves a system where affordability, access, and quality care aren’t just privileges, but a right. I will advocate for expanding affordable coverage and tackling the high costs of treatments and prescription drugs. We must support initiatives that strengthen our public health  infrastructure by investing in preventive care, community programs, and ensuring underserved rural areas aren’t left behind.
